Due to the terrain and frequently high humidity at Camp Pioneer, the weather can go from extremely cold during the nights of May to unrelenting heat during the days of July. Please keep in mind that the heat index often makes it feel warmer than the actual temperature. We encourage scouts to drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated, and there are water fountains and water-coolers throughout camp.
