Camp Pioneer is located in the beautiful foothills of the Ouachita Mountains. Mountain Fork River and Two Mile Creek converge at the camp, adding to its scenic beauty. The camp's hills are covered by pines and a large variety of hardwood trees.

At Camp Pioneer, all troop sites have wall tents, cots and mattress set up and ready for the use of Scouts and leaders. Each site is equipped with showers, restrooms, a storage building for equipment and a large shelter for troop meetings. Several of the troop sites are accessible to the physically handicapped. Swimming is in a junior Olympic pool. Boating and canoeing are in Mountain Fork River.

Parents are also invited to join us in a catered meal at camp on Friday evening. This meal will take place at 5:45 PM. The cost for the meal is $6.00 for each adult and $3.00 per visiting child under 10 years old. After the evening meal, parents are invited to attend the campfire and Order of the Arrow ceremony.

LAST YEAR THE SCOUTMASTERS AT CAMP PIONEER RATED THE STAFF, PROGRAM, AND CAMP HEALTH AND SANITATION EXCELLENT.
